WHAT TO WRITE

I have not blogged in foreva!! My increasing laziness has to stop!!! I have to try and rememba all da highlights of things I have done this past month. It’s not going to be easy but I will try my best.

1.       PANAMA!!!!!!!!!

How could I forget to blog about this? It was absolutely amazing!! It felt better to be working with dollars instead of colones for a change. So I lost my debit card and had to wait for it to be replaced so I actually entered Panama without a cent on me! It was that serious! Luckily enough, one of the banks there let me take out money from my Ghana debit card. I am glad that worked! Doesn’t even work in the states! So life in Panama got better after getting money!! We went to different beaches they were amazing. I think the pictures can do the talking for that one. We found this panaderia with the hugest cakes and pastries in the world for only $2. It felt like wonderland!! I had a chocolate cake. It was just huge!!! Sighhh…am getting hungry!!! I got some souvenirs as well, so in all Panama was fun. I was actually scared at the border. My passport is quite rare here in Costa Rica so I thought they might not even know what to do. They checked my passport over and over again, whispering things to others, checking computers. It was terrifying. But am glad, they finally realized I could enter the country!!

2.       I seriously can’t remember what else I have done. The 12 week students left!! We had a dinner for them and took pictures. The food was really good and there was abundant supply of red and white wine. It was an entertaining night. It was sad to see some people go but that’s life!!

3.       My Ghana debit card refused to work!!!! I thought I had too many problems already, now I can’t take any money out from my account. I felt like I went to every single bank in San Jose. Every bank and ATM/ATH I had been to!! So I called my brother to go to the bank in Ghana for me to figure out why this international card wasn’t working. He said the bank said it should be. Miraculously, it was working! It was like every day I complained about not having money was a liar!! Well am glad it’s sorted out now!!!

4.       I am going back to Puerto Viejo for Semana Santa. I have to go check up on the place and figure things out about the internship I will be doing and exactly how the area is like. Of course some beach is good.  My English writing seems bad today, oh well. Have a lot of concerns about the internship because it is a different city and different people as well. But all will be well, with God on my side, all will be well.

5.    SHAKIRA CONCERT!! That was a lot of fun even though she was late! The initial time was 7pm then it was changed to 8.30 then she showed up after 9pm. It was good and loved the fireworks after!!
